About Neural

Neural

Neural Blankes. Known for her near obsession with wearing white in Second Life®. A neko at heart. And known as “Mewstress” to a precious few. Neural has been building, designing, scripting, and making poses for a while now in Second Life®, and also rants off a storm or two about Linden Lab® more often than she probably should.
Starting in March of 2006, Neural became a land owner of her first newbie parcel (back when First Land® still existed) in April of 2006. From there she expanded to owning nearly 1/8th of Junghee. After the Lindens® opened the flood gates and got rid of the original age verification (because they wanted more money at any price), she sold off most of her land in mid summer 2006.
Later that year, owning just a tiny 512sq. meter parcel (free tier) in the Alpine sim of Swain, she built a little store for a friend by the name of Rowan Carroll. She’s So Unusual Shoes had it’s first non-mall store. At the same time Neural introduced “Ethereal Intimates”, focusing mainly on stockings and lingerie. several months later, the SSUS and ~{EI}~ empire dominated the eastern side of Swain, with Club Lava on the lower level.
In March of 2007, Neural and Rowan had outgrown their land, out grown the wall space on the store, and both had outgrown the lag and lunacy of Second Life® mainland. Neural and Rowan decided to split their stores up. Rowan moved to Redux NW, where, to this day, she runs a thriving shoe business. Neural took some time off, and then, in July of 2007, bought an island, and named it Thistledown. This is where the in world stores of Neurotic are now located, including the Opal store.

October 14th, 2008. Things Change
Several months back, Rowan Carroll outgrew her store on Redux NW even, and now owns/runs Unusual Isle, an Open Space attached to Thistledown. Neurotic as a brand was shut down, and Neural began creating the jewelry which this blog is now centered around.
