I never seem to be able to find a vendor in world that I like. Or that has the features I need. Or isn’t a lag monster.
So generally I end up writing my own.
This of course does not mean that I enjoy doing so. They are, in my opinion, a pain in the ass to script.
At least that’s what I think. Your mileage may vary. Just make sure your tires are inflated properly

Good thing I didn’t try for a “post per day” for more than a day eh?
Am in transition in RL right now. I have no place to play DDR. I don’t even have my pad with me. I am having withdrawal symptoms. It’s driving me nuts, and my weight it starting to fluctuate. Much unhappyness!

I’m going to try and shape up my blogging by taking on a rather imposing challenge.
to make one post per day, for a whole day.
I know! I know. stay calm. It’s a big deal, but it’s a challenge I’m up for accepting.
I’m doing pretty good so far, as this post counts for todays. We’ll see how long I can hold up the challenge and if I make it…

Ok. Once in a great while, a product comes along that simply changes the landscape of SL. For a while now people have tried to highlight their facial features with facelights, but most facelights are crude, and often don’t have the right effect on the avatar.
All facelights are no obsolete. Introducing the FaceLight 3000.
This phenomenal piece of ingenuity is unchallenged in the realm of accenting your avatars beauty. The FaceLight 3000 leaves all other facelights behind in brightness, as well as elegance.
The product itself is a simple one item attach. No fussing with multiple attach points.

This revolutionary avatar beauty enhancement wonder can be obtained here: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Sanctum/133/133/22
Go grab one before your friends do!
And a closeup of the FaceLight 3000 in action. Note the way the face is highlighted so perfectly:

I’ve cleared out a lot of my old posts.
To hide incriminating evidence? not reall.
Why then?
Because I need an outlet to talk about all things SL, but I am making an effort to not fall to the level that some bloggers have where they seem to exist only to tear down others. I will make the occasional exception for the Lindens, as we all do, but I’m going to move away from just rants.
This blog is still a conglomerate of various stuff. I’m still going to use it to post updates on my progress with DDR, however since i’m confined to living in an apartment for a while, I can’t play.
Stick around for more lunacy.

So it’s been a bit, but I’m still stompin’ arrows.
Got DDR Super Nova 2 for Christmas, so have been busy.
I gotta say, it is an awesome game, but there’s one little thing that really pisses me off about it. With Super Nova 2 you can now get an AAA score even if you get a couple “great” steps. My message to Konami/Bemani: “BOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Bad move, and I hope they are hearing about it from the fans. AAA is and always will be for those who score all perfects.
My fix for that is that i”m simply going to write down the names of the songs that I get true AAA scores on.
As for the song mix, it’s a good one. Haven’t unlocked a lot of them yet, but over all there’s a good mix of tracks to choose from.
My favorite so far has got to be “Strict Machine” by Goldfrapp. That track just rocks

yay! Go me!
back in early June…
hrm. now that I look at it, it’s very nearly half a year ago today that I started playing DDR seriously as an exercise program.
Anyway, I started out with DDR Extreme and a flimsy plastic “diaper dancepad”. In those early days when I felt like I was going to keel over and die trying to pass Jet World with something above a C, I made a goal for myself. Someday, I would have a minimum of an A score on all songs that had a “beginner” level. This was a huge goal, but I figured I’d go for it.
By mid-July, I had knocked out all but about 5 of those songs. By mid-August it was down to just two. Drop Out, and Legend of Max. I scored an A on Drop Out sometime in August.
In the meantime, I had purchased a few more DDR games. Extreme II, Supernova, and DDR Max2. So was a bit distracted overall, but I rotate my games for variety and all, so I was playing Extreme now and then, progressing further in many of the songs at Light and Standard levels. But Legend of Max still was sitting there with a “B” staring at me. Taunting me.
Well, that ended tonight. I finally got my A score, and with that acheived the first major goal I ever set for myself with DDR.
To top it off, I got an AA on Only You (Heavy), which completes an AA on all levels for that song
I’ve also started beginning my workout by wearing a pair of 3lb. ankle weights. When I start to feel bogged down and tired, I take those off and feel like flying. Now all I gotta do is figure out a way to get my upper body worked out.

The Rules
1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
ooooKay. So Rowan tagged me. um.. hrm. 8 random facts/habits.
1. Fact: I’m a plane/jet fanatic. Can’t help it. Especially the C5A Galaxy. Absolutely majestic.
2. Habit:Addicted(?) to soda. If it weren’t for diet and no calorie sodas, I’d be way overweight
3. Fact: I play pool/billiards better when I’ve had a little alcahol (”little” meaning like one beer)
4. Habit:I’m a perfectionist
5. Fact: I have, on more than one occasion, been called a walking encyclopedia of useless information
6. Habit:I use my turn signals when driving (I know this is a shocking, but it is true)
7. Fact: While I live in the United States, I lived in Europe for two years, and it was not due to the military
8. Habit:I rarely am without some sort of music playing when I am at home.
Tagging: CaSimone Aquitaine, Autumn Heyse, Nekow24 Zarf, Light Sol, SpikeHeel Starr, Bobbie Stewart, Unmasked Shepherd, VagueGirl Petty

Forgot what day. Got an AAA on Irresistible Element (Light). Oddly, this is not the first time I’ve gotten an AAA on this song at this level. I think my feet like it.
